The Doblo already comes with 3 years’ AA Assurance cover with includes Roadside Assistance, Home Start, Relay, Relay Plus & European cover, and now with unlimited mileage warranty instead of the usual 120,000 miles. Terms and conditions remain unchanged.

The Fiat Doblo Cargo has once again, taken the title for the best Light Van of the Year in the What Van? Awards. This is the second consecutive year for the Doblo.

The Doblo Cargo was launched less than two years ago in March 2010, and has impressed What Van? judging experts with its blend of styling, economy and driveability.

“The Fiat Doblo Cargo has shown its quality again during 2011, and the judges were unanimous in deciding it is again a worthy winner of the What Van? Light Van of the Year award, ” says What Van? editor Paul Barker. “An impressive combination of economy, appeal, durability and driving dynamics make the Doblo Cargo our number one light van.”

This popular van is a former International Van of the Year and Fleet Van of the Year. The Doblo comes in 6 different forms – Cargo, Cargo Maxi, Cargo SX, Cargo Maxi SX, Combi, Combi Maxi, Platform Cab and Work up, also with a choice of four low emissions, Euro 4 and 5-specification engines.

“It’s little wonder that we call the Doblo Cargo award-winning,” says Sebastiano Fedrigo, director, Fiat Professional UK. “It’s been a success story for us right from the beginning and it’s good to see that the expert panels agree. We’re delighted with this award, especially as it’s for the second year in a row.”

The engine line-up compromises a 1.4 litre 16v 95bhp petrol unit and three MultiJet 16v diesels – 1.3 (90bhp), 1.6 (105bhp), and 2.0 (135bhp). rices start at £11,695 (basic price) for the Doblo Cargo 1.4 16v Petrol Euro 4, or £12,515 for the Euro 5 version.

The union with Jennifer Lopez began earlier this year with the appearance of the convertible in her music video, Papi as well as in a 30-second trailer of the video.

“The Fiat brand is honoured to share the stage with Jennifer Lopez at the 2011 American Music Awards. Her drive and determination is the common thread that is shared with the brand and our philosophy of Life is Best When Driven“, says Olivier Francois, CEO of the Fiat brand.

“This appearance allows us to continue to expose the Fiat 500 to a wide demographic. These past few days have been momentous for Fiat as we have recently revealed the new Abarth 500 at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show.”"This appearance allows us to continue to expose the Fiat 500 to a wide demographic.

The singer also appears in two additional commercials for the brand broadcast in the USA, My World and Elegance, which feature the Fiat 500C and the Fiat 500byGucci models.

In its TwinAir form, the Fiat 500c has won the Green Apple Gold Award for Green Vehicles, Coupes and Cabriolets, at the 2011 International Green Apple Awards.

Launched by Fiat in July 2009, the 500C does everything its hatchback sister can do in terms of green motoring, but, in paying homage to the original 1957 fabric roof Fiat 500, offers a modern interpretation of a ‘soft top’ with state-of-the-art mechanical design and electric operation.

The TwinAir engine is already an award winner, not least as International Engine of the Year 2011. The 0.9-litre two cylinder unit is widely deemed to be the one that best suits the 500′s fun-to-drive attitude. Its high torque at low revs and environmentally-friendly credentials help make the 500 TwinAir a serious contender among rival city cars. With a 95g/km CO2 figure it can return more than 68mpg Combined fuel economy.

The Green Apple trophy was presented to Fiat by TV Dragon’s Den winner Chris Hopkins, and Ian Donaldson, chairman of the Midland Group of Motoring Writers, which judged and selected the winners, at the House of Commons in London yesterday (14 November).

“We were looking for cars that are not just green on paper, but are green in the real world too, and are also fun to drive,” says Ian Donaldson. “The Fiat 500C TwinAir totally encapsulates those thoughts and was a worthy winner.”

Fiat’s remarkable two cylinder 500 TwinAir engine has just got Fiat the 2011 GreenFleet Awards City Car Manufacturer of the Year, thanks to its popularity, environmental credentials and low fuel economy.

“Although a closely fought category again this year, the Fiat 500 TwinAir, with its low consumption, two-cylinder, clean petrol engine, was the resounding choice for the City Car Manufacturer of the Year Award,” says Colin Boyton, GreenFleet Marketing Manager.

“Even though it is already an extremely popular choice out there, I know we will be seeing many more take to the roads over the next year, as businesses look for a maximum return on their fleet investment. Well done Fiat, worthy winners,” he continued.

Launched as an engine option last October, it has since been introduced as part of the 500 model line-up in its own right in June. The TwinAir range has a sporty and assertive appearance, enhanced by black alloy wheels, burnished metal effects on dashboard and front and rear mouldings, spoiler, chrome exhaust pipe and sports seats.

But it’s not all about good looks, the range starts at £11,600 OTR rising to £15,500 OTR for the convertible 500C TwinAir Lounge. The TwinAir engine is capable of lively 0-62mph acceleration in 11 seconds, while maximum speed is 108mph. And it has incredibly low CO2 emissions of just 95g/km, along with 68.9mpg fuel economy (combined cycle).

One of Europe’s most popular commercial vehicles has just become even more attractive, after three decades and five generations, the new Fiat Ducato goes on sale this month.

Last year, with combined sales with its stablemates from PSA, the Fiat Ducato was the best-selling commercial vehicle in its segment in Europe. The Ducato now has more versions than ever before and completely new engines. The latest Ducato is now even cheaper to run than the model it replaces, a new interior gives it a much more car-like cockpit while retaining the Ducato’s trademark functionality.

There will be eight different capacities of van ranging from eight to 17 m3. But the Ducato isn’t just a van. The various lengths and Gross Vehicle Weights of the chassis combined with the new engines give converters an enormous choice of base vehicle for anything from a minibus to a motorhome or even a flatbed truck.

The new Ducato’s upgraded interior employs the sort of high quality materials that up until now have been alien to the commercial vehicle sector. New seats mean it’s comfier while a complete re-design of the dash makes it more stylish to look at.

With this new sense of panache comes improved practicality. The re-designed dashboard now has a slot to accommodate the Blue&Me TomTom LIVE satellite navigation unit. The integrated radio/CD and MP3 player not only looks smart but can accommodate the latest generation of Blue&Me. Vehicles specified with Blue&Me can also have eco:Drive Professional, a version of Fiat’s award-winning eco:Drive Fleet. This lets drivers and fleet managers monitor how vehicles are being driven and alter habits accordingly to improve economy and lower costs.

The three power outputs from the previous Ducato’s three engines will be replaced by four outputs from two engine capacities on the new model. With a range of 110, 130, 148 and 177bhp engines, buyers have the opportunity to specify one that’s exactly suited to their requirements.

Whichever engine they choose it’ll benefit from Fiat’s latest MultiJet technology and comply with strict Euro 5 emissions legislation. It’s also more powerful than the engine it replaces and more economical, produces fewer CO2 emissions and has longer service intervals.

Fiat’s stunning 500CbyGucci has just set off on a series of city breaks with visits planned to some of most famous cities in Europe. London’s Covent Garden Piazza, last week hosted the first trip for the convertible gem, displayed in a striking 5m3 crystal cube with elegant black lacquer finish .

As well as the car there will be a display of a selection of pieces from the Fiat 500byGucci collection, including travel accessories, small leather goods, driving gloves, eyewear and a watch. The London exhibition will be followed by showcasing stops in Saint Tropez, Berlin, Barcelona, Milan, Rome and Geneva.

The Fiat 500CbyGucci is embellished by 16-inch alloy wheels characterised by the unmistakable retro design of the spokes, in perfect harmony with the exterior colours: a first for cars in this category. The hub caps have a double “G” logo in matching body colour and the Gucci signature in italics is displayed on the tailgate and door pillar.

The interior also brims with style: classic stitching, exclusive materials, satin and polished chrome-plated elements, a velvet-effect finish on the radio panel and two-tone Frau leather seats with Guccissima print. The Gucci web theme also appears on the seats, gearbox, key cover, mats and, with an innovative finish, on the seat belts.

The convertible version of the Fiat 500byGucci – once again customised by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini in collaboration with Fiat’s Centro Stile style centre – is available in two colours: classic black and white, with a distinctive glitter finish. These two exceptional colours complement each other – the black with detailing in shiny chrome is paired with a contrasting interior for a contemporary and racy finish. The white with satin chrome detailing offers a softer, more sophisticated look. The Fiat 500byGucci range starts at £14,800.

Driven in the marathon by motoring journalist John Kerswill and partnered by Ian McKean, the Fiorino van also claimed best mpg figures in its class.

“I was really impressed that the Fiorino was able to achieve over 80mpg on a tough route that included plenty of steep hills, heavy traffic and strong headwinds,” says John Kerswill. “It’s a great little van to drive, too.”

“We know the Fiorino Cargo is an economical van to own and drive, so it’s great news when our claims are proved so conclusively in a tough test like this one,” says Paul Godden, brand manager, Fiat Professional.

The 1.3 MultiJet Diesel 75 Euro 5 van returned 82.96mpg over the economy test’s 370 mile course using less than four and a half gallons of fuel to take the title. And the overall mpg figure achieved was 26.27 per cent better than the official combined figure for the van.

The MPG Marathon is now in its 11th year, whereby the challenges the UK’s top eco-drivers get the best possible mpg figures from their vehicle, and aims to set motorists thinking about the impact they have on fuel consumption.

The Fiat Fiorino Cargo range starts at £9,695 (basic) for the 1.4 8v Petrol 75 Euro 5, rising to £12,645 (basic) for the Adventure 1.3 MultiJet Diesel 95 Euro 5.

Fiat received the maximum score (94/100), together with BMW, compared to an average of 72/100 for companies in the Automobiles sector evaluated by SAM, the investment group specialised in sustainability investing.

Fiat obtained the maximum score in almost every area analysed in the environmental dimension (combating climate change, product performance, logistics processes) and, in social dimension, for human capital development, stakeholder engagement, responsible supply-chain management, and initiatives for local communities. The maximum recognition was also given for risk management and the innovation process.

The prestigious DJSI World and DJSI Europe equity indexes only admit those companies judged best-in-class in the sustainable management of their businesses, from an economic as well as social and environmental perspective.

For DJSI World, apart from Fiat, the only other Automobiles sector companies admitted for 2011/2012 were BMW and Volkswagen. For DJSI Europe, only Fiat and BMW were admitted.
