Produced at its state-of-the-art factory in Chennai, India, the new Micra, code named K13, should be hitting UK shores in October 2010. Chennai has the capacity to produce 400,000 vehicles a year and will supply Micra to both Europe and the Indian domestic markets.

The plant is a joint owned venture run by both Nissan and Renault and offers best practices and benchmarking as well as keeping costs to a minimum.
